Job description

A U.S.-based company building a workplace management platform to monitor and control routine business operations is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with identifying, troubleshooting bugs, and optimizing the platform for faster execution. The company’s comprehensive platform enables businesses to make better decisions about their workplace and employees. The company has managed to raise more than $1 mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time long-term position requiring 4+ hours of overlap with the MST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Design, explain, and implement complex systems with minimal help or intervention
  • Be an integral part of guiding efforts towards improving and enhancing the products
  • Rapidly expand and scale the growing business
  • Develop scalable solutions, propose and communicate solutions to the team, and implement it

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience in Laravel and PHP
  • Prolific experience in MySQL
  • Nice to have experience in JavaScript/Vue.js
  • Experience writing RestAPIs is a plus 
  • Prior experience with Stripe billing system is preferred 
  • Nice to have experience working at a small U.S.-based startup 
  • Knowledge of scheduling software is nice to have 
  • Experience writing third-party APIs
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
