Job description

A fast-growing company that is building a healthcare payment platform to make it easier for patients to afford medical help is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building performant service integrations and managing the scalable infrastructure that enables consumer lending. The US-based, well-funded company is on a mission to drive better health outcomes at scale, and reduce costs for consumers. This will be a full-time, long-term position requiring significant overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create cloud infrastructure and API integrations from the ground up
  • For a growing technical team, spin up the tech stack and lead the DevOps
  • Implement CI/CD methods and company-wide code quality standards
  • Work together on timeframes, roadmaps, and technical strategies
  • Create a scalable back-end that adheres to best security practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, SQL, DevOps, and Cloud Architect (AWS or GCP)
  • Nice to have some experience with Machine Learning, React/React Native, and Cloud Security
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work without being micromanaged in a team environment
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
