Job description

A fast-scaling startup working to empower new investors by creating a safe platform for connecting them to their personal finance teams, is looking for a Lead Web Front-End Engineer. The engineer will work to expound the company vision by taking ownership of front-end engineering efforts and driving user interaction. The company is passionate about breaking new ground in the FinTech space and creating a transformative mobile web application. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to provide 7-8+ hours of overlap with the CST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Own products and features relevant to the customer side of operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand company goals and convert them into achievable technical solutions
  • Ensure industry streamlined standard operations and train junior engineers/developers 
  • Analyze user feedback and data to brainstorm innovative solutions and drive growth

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience as a Web Front-End Engineer
  • Expert-level skills with PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, and Google Cloud Compute
  • Ability to use corporate tools such as Google Suite/Meet, Slack, Miro, and Figma
  • Previous experience with BaaS APIs like Github, Devise, Plaid, etc
  • Good command over verbal and written English communication
