Job description

A fast-emerging company providing easy ways to find modern, unique, and high-quality memorial products is looking for a Lead Software Engineer. The engineer will utilize the principles of software engineering to design, build, and maintain applications within the development team. The company is continuously raising the bar for the entire industry by providing an unmatchable collection that seeks to redefine how people remember their loved ones. This role offers a full-time, long-term opportunity for talented engineers and requires an overlap with the Mountain time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help improve codebase by writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software developers, PMs, UX designers, system administrators, and analysts
  • Direct the development of documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
  • Share new ideas related to technology, algorithms, and products
  • Troubleshoot issues and solve problems as they arise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of React, Java, and Shopify
  • E-commerce experience is nice to have
  • Familiarity with UI design is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
