Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to help independent artists and labels break into the music industry is looking for a Laravel Developer. The developer will be interacting with stakeholders and proposing solutions that will drive initiatives to success. The company strives to give artists and labels equal footing and access to a global marketplace so they can compete and build noteworthy careers. The company has managed to secure more than $2 mn in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, enhancements, and new developments as and when required
  • Document features, technical specifications, and infrastructure responsibilities
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies (dailies, mid-sprint, planning, and presentation)
  • Find sustainable and pragmatic solutions to challenges 
  • Be curious and enjoy working with others

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in web development
  • Extensive expertise in PHP (Laravel), and PostgreSQL databases
  • Familiarity using Domain-Driven Design
  • Comfortable with Test-Driven Development
  • Demonstrable experience in working with AWS (SQS [queues in general], Elastic Beanstalk/Fargate/ECS, ElasticSearch, Redis)
  • Well-versed using Git and CLI
  • Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills
