Job description

An emerging platform for founders to consolidate and share basic information (team bios, pitch deck, etc.) is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will work hand-in-hand with the leadership to build, communicate, and deploy short & long-term product decisions and other additional products. The candidate will also take ownership and influence the product direction to handle other core development practices. The platform enables founders and creators to improve the information dissemination and engagement process. The job presents a good opportunity to join a fast-scaling team and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work hand-in-hand with leadership to build, communicate, and deploy short & long-term product decisions for the company
  • Introduce new features and integrations to the platform
  • Test software development methodology in an agile environment
  • Lead development of full-stack features based on design docs and mock-ups
  • Write thorough unit and integration tests
  • Create relevant documentation
  • Help create systems and processes that increase developer efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with React, Node.js, MySQL, Next.js, and AWS is required
  • Experience with Typescript, Serverless, Knex.js, Chakra-UI, Express, and Sanity.io is a plus
  • Nice to have prior startup experience
  • Interest in researching and experimenting with new technologies outside of core responsibilities is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
