Job description

A U.S.-based company developing a reliable and effective platform for designing and deploying APIs is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating working prototypes and tools to improve developer efficiency. The company offers developers high-productivity tools that encourage cooperation. The company has managed to raise $400 mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop, and test new products that will have an impact on millions of people across the world
  • Develop support for new protocols and expand the capabilities of existing protocols
  • Develop functioning prototypes and tools aimed at increasing developer efficiency
  • Within a small, close-knit team, collaborate with product, design, and other engineering areas
  • Participate in various internal and external open-source initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years of experience building and shipping products
  • Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion
  • Curious and excited about how things work under the hood
  • Knowledge of working with gRPC, WebSockets, or other API protocols
  • Proficiency in English
