Job description

A fast-emerging machine learning platform that allows collaboration between data science teams and domain experts to identify data insights is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building high-performance horizontally scalable machine learning architecture, writing compact performant data structure and more. The company is an MIT spinoff, consisting of machine learning hackers, full stack engineers, and user-experience doyens. It has raised $7M in funding so far. It is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 6 hours daily overlap with European time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build high-performance horizontally scalable machine learning architecture
  • Write performant database code for handling trillions of data points
  • Implement the best practices and principles for test automation & micro services initiatives
  • Write compact, performant data structure
  • Craft elegant, scalable web-services
  • Define and optimize the cloud & on-premise infrastructure
  • Embrace continuous integration & DevOps best practices
  • Work on a small team and helping where help is needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional back-end development experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Angular
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Postgres internals and advanced features
  • Comfortable writing idiomatic Python codes
  • Proficient in automated deployments with both unit and integration testing 
  • Experience building and maintaining distributed micro services; debugging & monitoring live production environments, 
  • Understand the difference between lean & agile environments
  • Experience in working with numerous modern development frameworks
