Full-Stack Engineer

A seed-stage startup tapping into the power of modern technology to revolutionize the healthcare industry is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate must be able to hold themselves accountable with a strong sense of ownership. The company is building an advanced connected infrastructure that will power brands across the industry and deliver world-class direct-to-patient experiences. This position requires some overlap with the SNST time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in product, design, marketing, creativity, analytics, and operations to create the best telehealth infrastructure and customer experiences
• Architect and develop services that are efficient, highly scalable, and secure that power health commerce products
• Create data pipelines and analytics platforms for health commerce applications
• Collaborate with the team to create new API and platform features for both front-end and back-end platforms
• Participate in code reviews, as well as the development, testing, and deployment of maintainable and elegant code
• Debug and analyze issues that affect the usability and responsiveness of our various platforms to assist the team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of experience in building highly scalable back-end and front-end services
• Proficient in at least one of the following back-end languages like NodeJS, PHP, Ruby, or Python
• Familiar with at least one of the following front-end frameworks like VueJS or React
• Strong software programming capabilities
• Working experience with event-driven architecture is required
• Knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka/NATS etc. is required
• Experience working within the AWS ecosystem of products is a must
• Experience with headless e-commerce platforms, e.g., Shopify, Bigcommerce, is nice to have
• Experience with Typescript, Laravel, and/or Ruby on Rails is a bonus
• Knowledge of NextJS and/or NuxtJS, Microservices architecture, CI/CD, and Containers concept is nice to have
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum is a plus
• Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with a deep sense of product ownership, and creative problem solver
• Extremely enthusiastic about software coding/development and the creation of fantastic mobile/web applications
• Be a good collaborator and team player capable of working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and widely dispersed team environment
