Job description

A fast-growing company that is building an efficient platform that aims to establish a smarter way to manage real estate budgets, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of pair programming and providing thoughtful feedback in code reviews. The company's advanced technology helps users to stay on top of their real estate finances in real-time. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our founders and engineers to design and develop new features
  • Own architectural decisions and technical build-out as the organization scales
  • Participate in the sprint process, code reviews, and product meetings
  • Inform much of early culture and contribute to the creation of something monumental

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript is required
  • Proficiency with JS frameworks such as React or Vue, HTML, and CSS is required
  • Proficiency with Git source control is must have
  • Familiarity with Postgresql or other relational databases, Google Cloud, AWS, and testing automation is required
  • Strong eye for UI design is nice to have
  • Public Github or a portfolio of previous projects is preferred
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Passion for building and shipping products quickly
  • Attention to code quality and security
  • Thrives in an early-stage startup setting
  • Comfortable working remotely with a bias towards written communication
