Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is building a digital debt manager to refinance debts and make them cheaper, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building, developing, managing, and executing projects efficiently. The company leverages the power of technology to make debt cheaper and help users to take control of their financial future. This is a great opportunity for developers to rub shoulders with industry veterans and test their skills.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Have immediate responsibilities and a strong impact on the product
  • Develop new features on the platform’s existing tech stacks
  • Have extensive user empathy along with a good appreciation of accessibility and UX
  • Ability to unpack complex requirements and uphold the security of sensitive data to conform to best practices
  • Implement a collaborative, adaptable, and user-centered approach

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, UX Design, Python, AWS, and MySQL
  • Demonstrable experience working with React / Node and TypeScript 
  • Nice to have some knowledge of TDD, Nest.js, Redux, Domain Driven Design, Agile, and Material UI
  • Adept software design and coding skills, accrued in a modern full-stack context
  • Prior experience participating in the improvement of our testing and continuous deployment processes on AWS / Gitlab
  • Ability to work with an analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with fluency in English
