Job description

A fast-growing company determined to make connections between the disparate parts of disease management to help physicians, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be balancing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines. The company helps physicians monitor patients with medical devices and produce real-time biometric data that deliver insights to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. Job Responsibilities:

  • Articulate on how engineers facilitate CI/CD practices in collaboration with several other departments and teams to accomplish business goals
  • Work on the existing software applications and customize the software for client use 
  • Analyze, design, and coordinate databases within an application area
  • Consult with team members on technical design approaches in the current Angular front-end application
  • Work with the CTO to deliver solutions for clients both internal and external
  • Assist in a potential AWS integration/migration project

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing Information Architecture for websites and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency with Typescript, Angular, Firebase, and Node.js
  • Strong database structural development experience and other MVC frameworks
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD in the software engineering processes
  • Prior experience developing and deploying applications to the AWS Cloud
  • Some exposure to containerization using Docker
  • Experience with source control - Git
  • Prior experience/exposure in the medical sector is desirable
  • Some knowledge of NestJS and RXJS is nice to have
  • Experience with Webpack or other automated build tools is desirable
  • A clear understanding of process-oriented and goal-oriented work styles is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and as an individual
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an investigative mentality 
  • Capable of strategic and associative thinking
