Job description

A rapidly-growing company revolutionizing the biotechnology industry by developing a pathological scanner that helps pathologists to collaborate with other doctors around the world, is looking for a Full-stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing a digital pathology system and leading research and development of control firmware for the robotic devices along with the web-based digital pathology viewer interface. The scanner utilizes an AI-enabled robotic plug-and-play whole slide scanners that provide quality image analysis tools at competitive prices. This is an excellent chance to have your skills showcased to a diverse group of users consisting of AI engineers, data scientists, lab technicians, and medical professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the research and development of control firmware for the company’s robotic devices along with their web-based digital pathology viewer interface
  • Build and maintain low network footprint & flexible API design
  • Patiently dive deep to analyze complex challenges and come up with innovative solutions
  • Use pattern-based thinking to derive new frameworks for high quality code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working as a full-stack engineer
  • Previous experience working with Java, JavaScript, Python, and Django
  • Experience using modern tools & frameworks like React.js
  • Experience working with 2D Map based interactive interfaces 
  • Must possess the right engineering mindset that outweighs knowledge when tackling new, challenging problems
  • Must possess the grasping power to digest complex system design in order to build from scratch
  • Prolific tactical debugging skills when dealing with the not-so-trivial and often opaque frameworks
