Full-Stack Developers

A US-based company that has developed a ranking site based on a popular game played by millions of people is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and improve internal tools used by the rest of the team. The company’s site also has a provision for downloading the game's addon so that the players can save time and have everything in a single place. Job Responsibilities:

• Create new features and bug fixes for the main website, back-end services, desktop client, and addons
• Take part in a collaborative product delivery workflow, from design to specification to feature to pull request to deployment
• Contribute to the evolution of the site's and services' architecture in order to improve stability, performance, and cost-efficiency
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal tools used by the entire team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
• Knowledge of one or more front-end and back-end technologies and interest in programming in Typescript and React
• Understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
• Experience with relational database design- MySQL preferred
• Experience developing Single Page App (SPA) architecture is nice to have
• Experience with Lua and World of Warcraft Addon development is a plus
• Experience with Trello, Jira, or other project management tools is desirable
• Familiarity with World of Warcraft or gaming in general is strongly preferred
• Motivated self-starter that excels in an open, highly collaborative environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with a team of remote coworkers and managers
• Proficiency in English
