Job description

A US-based company addressing intercity transportation by providing clients with a cost-effective, personalized, and safe ride-sharing service is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be a part of the cross-functional team responsible for the complete software development lifecycle. The company also has an option of premier riding that offers 10+ departures daily, and clients can also earn money by picking up and dropping others on the way.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Using optimal software development principles, write well-designed, tested, and efficient code
  • Create a website layout and user interface using conventional HTML/CSS principles
  • Combine data from several back-end services and databases 
  • Gather and refine requirements and specifications based on technological requirements
  • Work with web designers to ensure the visual design purpose is met
  • To come up with software solutions, collaborate with development teams and product managers
  • Create a compelling visual design for the front-end of applications
  • Create architecture for both the client and the server
  • Establish and maintain efficient databases and applications
  • Build APIs that work and thoroughly test software for responsiveness and efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Knowledge of HTML and Python
  • Experience with React and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with CSS and Node.js is nice to have
  • Knowledge of XML and jQuery is a plus
  • Experience with MySQL and MongoDB is desirable
  • Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail
