Job description

A fast-emerging platform helping functional fitness athletes to improve their performance by engaging in challenges and building strength from community workouts is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing a data-centric product with a user experience that depends on complex algorithms and data structures. The company focuses on making the world a fitter place with the team rapidly iterating both the server platform and the iOS/Apple Watch app. This is a great chance for developers with ambitions for high growth and impact while working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team that has shipped work on a continuous and reliable basis utilizing lightweight techniques like Kanban
  • Create a full-stack web application using the majority of the present stack
  • Implement a data-centric product that relies on complicated algorithms and data structures to provide a positive user experience
  • Maintain a server API for a client mobile app

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a professional software developer
  • Experience with Python/Django, JavaScript/Vue, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Native mobile apps (especially iOS/Swift/SwiftUI) is strongly preferred
  • Inclination towards fitness is preferred
  • Interest in working in a remote environment with a good command of the English language
