Job description

A fast-growing company that is enabling customers to book their own private villas across Europe through their villa holiday tour operation site is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with steering the team technically in line with the company’s vision. The company has over 3 decades of experience and offers customers a choice of more than 2K villas in 15+ destinations with option of car hire, transfers, and travel insurance. Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribution to the product roadmap in the one-week sprint model 
  • Helping your team to deliver at high velocity 
  • Practice and promote Agile practices 
  • Continuously learn and deliver incremental business value 
  • Use Continuous Delivery Practices  
  • Select the best tools to solve the problems at hand 
  • Mentor junior team members and implement standard industry practices 
  • Effective collaboration and removal of silos 
  • Build high availability solutions
  • Development of asynchronous and/or multi-tiered scalable applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6-10+ years of relevant experience in software product development
  • Prolific experience in Microsoft .NET technology, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working as part of Agile teams
  • Hands-on experience practicing Scrum, XP, and Kanban
  • Prolific experience with Git and in web development using ASP.NET MVC and C#
  • Extensive experience in test-driven development and DevOps practices 
  • Strong design capabilities, following SOLID principles using C#
  • Scripting Languages like Typescript or JavaScript 
  • Well-versed with pair-programming 
  • Experience working on solutions hosted in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) 
  • Implementation of Continuous Delivery processes 
  • Good understanding of behavior-driven development and domain-driven design
