Job description

A fast-growing company that uses data-driven integrated financial services SaaS middleware to automate every stage of the loan process is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing responsive front-end web interfaces. The company enables lenders to enhance revenue, maximize conversion, and manage risk while cutting operating expenses rapidly and efficiently. This is a full-time role requiring some overlap with the US time zone. The developer should be capable of working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology and trends
  • Using Laravel and Vue.js, create cloud computing software and API integration
  • For new and existing product offerings, analyze, develop, program, compile, debug, support, and alter software, enhancements, add-ons, and integrations.
  • Assess technical requirements in light of offered solutions
  • Exercise solid judgment while also thinking strategically, imaginatively, and innovatively.
  • Provide technical leadership to less experienced developers and constructive criticism to assist the team to grow 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing web-services based applications
  • 5+ years of experience working with Laravel 
  • 1+ years experience with Vue.js 
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end web application development, building well-tested, high volume, and large-scale distributed systems 
  • Experience working with REST APIs and version control using Git
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries 
  • Extensive experience and understanding of Linux CLI and systems
  • Strong understanding of programming techniques, tools, and web development cycle 
  • Knowledge of popular tools for optimizing and testing code
  • Nice to have some experience with cloud development technologies like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leads
  • Prior experience in the financial industry is desirable
