Job description

A rapidly-growing company providing intelligent enterprise resource planning and work management solutions for businesses is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with gathering functional requirements and developing technical specifications. The US-based company plans, builds, and delivers project-based solutions for architecture, engineering, and consultancy firms around the world. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work with a team of industry veterans and build scalable solutions to industry plaguing challenges.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create code that complies with industry standards and best practices
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation of story points, daily standups, and sprint retrospectives
  • Lead the creation and testing of data-driven services and user interfaces
  • Collaborate on software designs that meet technical and business requirements with architects, UI/UX designers, and other team members
  • As implementations are being considered, present multiple options that balance user experience, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
  • Make certain that unit tests meet or exceed standard coverage requirements
  • Participate in Agile rituals such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product demos
  • Create code that is efficient and elegant while meeting business requirements
  • Test the UI code to ensure proper device/browser rendering
  • Communicate progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Estimate assignments precisely
  • Make and keep technical documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 6+ years of experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap is required
  • 4+ years of experience in React is a must
  • Proven knowledge of C#,.NET Core, .NET Internals, and CSS
  • Advanced knowledge of implementing consumer-grade, cross-browser, and cross-device responsive web designs
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of .NET ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, or performance testing frameworks
  • Python skills experience with API development using .NET Core 
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Key Vaults, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure App Insights, Azure AD, and Kubernetes is required
  • Experience with CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, as well as Typescript and relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server is required
  • Excellent understanding and willingness to work in a Test-Driven Development environment
  • Excellent understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Git, test automation, and best practices for CI/CD
  • Experience and familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, Node.js, and Knockout
  • Experience with Airflow and PowerBI Embedded is preferred
  • Strong professional skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • A strong desire to learn new languages/technologies 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and a high aptitude to learn
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
