Job description

A rapidly-growing company developing a fast, simple, and secure method of capturing paper, PDFs, and other media into a searchable team-based system is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building, developing, and maintaining projects while adopting a problem-solving and analytical approach. The well-established SaaS company in the document management space is building a cutting-edge tool to make digitally storing and retrieving documents easy. This will be a long-term, full-time role requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Convert ideas and designs into code that is fast, dependable, and well-documented
  • Legacy code should be revised and improved
  • Perform and get code evaluations, and take notes on what you learn
  • With technical insights and suggestions, assist sales and support workers
  • Keep up with new tools, best practices, and so forth

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer
  • Must have expertise in PHP/MySQL, MVC, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Linux, Git, and NGINX is nice to have
  • Ability to write in line with architectural conventions and a house style guide
  • Maintaining projects on a reasonably typical LEMP stack is a plus
  • Writing both object-oriented and procedural PHP is a plus
  • Experience building projects from the ground up as well as jumping into an established codebase
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and vocal
  • Proficiency in English
