Job description

A fast-growing automotive dealerships platform that facilitates automation in internal reporting is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The ideal developer should be passionate about building applications from vision to production, offering new ideas, and consistently thinking outside the box. The high-tech platform ultimately automates manual processes within an organization, thus helping clients save an enormous amount of time and effort. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup and significantly impact the SaaS platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be enthusiastic about developing apps from concept to completion, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and innovating continuously
  • Design and develop code that is simple to understand
  • Work with a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Make technological and design decisions that are difficult to understand
  • Conduct performance evaluations and seek ways to improve performance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience with NodeJS for constructing RESTful APIs and ReactJS/ES7/VueJS for front-end components
  • Conversant with asynchronous programming using Promises, async/await, and ES7 generators
  • Familiar with Git (ideally Github), Bitbucket, or another modern code repository
  • Strong proclivity for action and ownership, with a focus on execution
  • Ability to operate with cloud-native applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Knowledge of React, Redux, and ES6/7 for front end development
  • Excellent understanding of Node.js API development in AWS (lambdas)
  • Proficiency with Stylus CSS; SASS or LESS
  • Working knowledge of Yarn and Webpack as front-end JavaScript technologies
  • Experience with other JavaScript abilities, including Knex.js, and Objection.js
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), as well as the ability to write and execute queries and navigate a relational datastore
  • Proficient with AWS technologies such as Lambdas, CloudFormation, Route53, and Code Deployment
  • Previous exposure or desire to build and lead a development team
  • Prior startup experience would be a huge plus
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Wiki, and other development tools
