Job description

A US-based headless platform consolidating product and content updates in a company's central system is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will join the implementation team to build experiences on the platform that allows merchants to easily create, edit, and maintain their storefronts. The company partners with D2C brands to build fast and beautiful experiences that amplify growth by adopting new technologies. This will be a full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the existing team from ideation to completion
  • Create innovative solutions to the ever-recurring problems and challenges that create friction in the world of headless e-commerce
  • Design and implement scalable and robust solutions that reduce friction for merchants managing their e-commerce storefronts 
  • Create well designed and scalable applications that are used daily by both clients and developers
  • Work with the team of engineers to help improve the product and build out new features and designs
  • Interact with Product/UX to develop new features
  • Contribute to the architecture of the application 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience working with Node.js, React, Jest, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Nice to have prior experience with e-commerce and Typescript
  • Experience building applications using modern web technologies and frameworks 
  • Passion for technology and tools that enable better developer productivity
  • Strong sense of empathy for developers and obstacles that block them from developing quality code quickly 
  • Working knowledge of one or more database products like MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with remote team members
  • Nice to have some Shopify/BigCommerce/Magento/e-commerce experience
