Job description

An emerging edutainment company that uses games to teach kids academic lessons daily, is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of driving feature development for the company’s platform. The platform ensures that children have fun learning math, programming, and science while watching educational content in a safe but fun environment. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the MSK time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve the code quality through testing, automation, and code reviews
  • Optimize the application for incredible speed and scalability
  • Enforce software development standards and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Develop features to boost user experiences
  • Collaborate across teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Solve complex problems and deliver timely results 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific experience and knowledge of React, Apollo, GraphQL, and Node.js
  • Familiarity with Amplitude Analytics and Firebase
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
