Job description

A US-based company that facilitates effective communication of medical practices on a cloud-based software is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for advancing the architecture of the platform to solve business problems at scale. The company helps hospitals and medical practitioners to stay updated on new medications, utilizations, side effects, and patient assistance programs. The company has managed to secure funding worth $2.5 mn during their Series B round. This will be a full-time, long-term role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop highly scalable web applications
  • Design robust data schemas and solve performance issues
  • Design and build GraphQL APIs
  • Take technical ownership of features to move the product forward
  • Interact with business stakeholders and the product team to develop new products and features 
  • Thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment while helping the organization/engineering team scale
  • Write reusable, test-driven, efficient code
  • Research and learn new technologies that might be appropriate for current or future products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 2+ years experience working with ReactJS
  • Experience working with Ruby, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, NodeJS, and Git
  • Experience architecting applications within a Monorepo (Lerna, Yarn Workspaces, etc.)
  • Previous experience building GraphQL or REST APIs (preferably experience with GraphQL in a production environment)
  • Excellent understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Prior experience using TDD and testing best practices
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented design (DRY, SOLID, GoF, DDD)
  • Proficient working knowledge of front-end and back-end stacks
  • Nice to have some experience working within Scrum/Agile/Kanban methodologies
  • Experience with Vue or Angular (Vue preferred)
  • Experience with mobile development tools (Ionic, Cordova, Capacitor, React Native, Android SDK) is nice to have
  • Experience working with CSS-in-JS techniques and tooling is desirable
  • Experience with Hasura, NestJS and Deno is nice to have
