Job description

The selected candidate will solve sophisticated business challenges with process engineering and technology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate requirements into technical design and provide estimates while working with stakeholders and concerned teams
  • Develop high-quality code and partake in design and code inspections to maintain product standards
  • Build extraordinary applications and work with ambiguous and evolving business requirements
  • Work closely with design services to understand design standards and write the code to deliver the required functionality
  • Contribute to the development of multiple web-based applications from the ground up
  • Instruct and direct small development teams in producing solutions based on specifications 
  • Design, develop and test enterprise web service APIs and back-end service
  • Work independently, understand business needs, build robust and scalable solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 5+ years of experience supporting highly available critical applications
  • High-level proficiency with functional programming and object-oriented paradigms
  • Core competency in the JavaScript language and modern ES6 syntax and features
  • Expertise in writing efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code
  • Experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment tools (i.e., Jenkins)
  • Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
  • Be comfortable working under pressure as part of a globally distributed team
  • Experience with back-end JavaScript technologies/frameworks, including Node.js and Express
  • Prolific skills in Vue.js or ReactJS framework and some core principles like components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
  • Demonstrated ability with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router (or similar ReactJS equivalents)
  • Prior experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and writing complex queries
  • Experience in building/deploying applications to Cloud Platforms/Kubernetes, consuming and designing RESTful APIs
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
  • Experience working with and managing offshore and onshore teams on multiple projects/tasks as needed
  • Ability to take a project from the requirements phase through the launch of the project
  • Forward-thinking with strong leadership capabilities
