Job description

A rapidly-growing company that helps businesses manage their customers and suppliers in an orderly and simple way, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with building out new customer-facing features for HR and Payroll systems. The company centralizes and automates accounts into receivable and payable accounts to help businesses grow faster. This will be a full-time position for the developer to work with the team and build new large-scale features. It requires some overlap with the PST/EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write, test, debug and deploy code in sprint development cycles
  • Lead and guide other front-end developers on your squad
  • Own and drive alignment with other leads on best practices around web development, toolkits, libraries, and coding standards
  • Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across the product
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
  • Collaborate with the back-end developers and UX design leads
  • Focus on building out the library of front-end reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize web development assets and transform application requirements into user stories

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with Angular +2 and Node.js
  • 2+ years of experience working as a senior engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Typescript, CSS3, and HTML5
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling
  • Proficient in Git for version control
  • Experience with Agile process, primarily Scrum
  • In-depth understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS, SASS, or Emotion
  • Experience building and delivering customer-facing front-end web applications
  • Solid understanding of CDNs, minimizing and compressing assets to improve load performance
  • Experience working with UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Axure RP and translating them effectively into HTML/CSS and JavaScript
