Job description

An early-stage Edtech company, enhancing student success and retention rates by breaking down social and educational barriers, is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will contribute to the initiatives and products, providing a one-stop-shop for involvement and centralizing resources for students to find and participate in their interests. The company focuses on bridging the gap between students, professors, and administrators, boosting all-round metrics around student involvement, first-year retention, course completion, graduation rates, and many more. This position offers a full-time engagement and requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with PST/EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve the stability of existing and new front-end and back-end code
  • Take ownership of features, solve debugging, testability, and deployment problems
  • Document best practices and coding patterns
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap of ongoing improvements, enhancements, and updates

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Must be proficient in React Native, Node.js, GraphQL, and Apollo
  • Experience in React and Typescript
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with various teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and time management skills
