Job description

A fast-growing platform delivering quality foods that are delicious and highly nourishing is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The developer will work alongside an exceptional team of developers and be responsible for the large rebranding project, writing client-side code, and performing other tasks as they arise. The company has raised over $40 mn in funding so far and developed a platform offering hundreds of delightful meal options carefully designed and created by talented chefs. This will be an excellent chance for the candidate to collaborate with the team fueled by passion with a holistic approach to health and wellness.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Augment the existing team and work alongside a team of exceptional developers in a fast-paced environment
  • Support colleagues through code and design reviews
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and pair programming
  • Work primarily on a large rebranding project, writing client-side codes in ReactJS
  • Develop SASS and templated HTML alongside a team of full-time engineers
  • Perform other ancillary tasks as they arise 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience as a contributing software engineer
  • Experience building React web applications
  • Proficient in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • An understanding of modern client-server web application architecture
  • Experience in integrating 3rd party APIs
  • Familiarity with writing maintainable software in multiple paradigms or languages
  • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Python, Typescript, Next.js, or related technologies is nice to have 
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cloudflare, and AWS is desirable
