Job description

An innovative company that operates as a technology provider to financial institutions is looking for a Flutter Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications for diverse Android and iOS devices. The company specializes in bringing digital maturity with FinTech and FinCON (Financial Content) based solutions to brokerage houses, banks, clearing members, and asset management firms. The candidate is required to have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products to efficiently work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively develop Flutter applications and their integration with back-end services
  • Create and maintain advanced applications for different mobile platforms
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to specify, structure, and ship new features
  • Efficiently use third-party data sources and APIs
  • Create and execute unit tests on the code to ensure its robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and enhance application execution
  • Scour and employ new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience in developing front-end user interfaces, primarily using mobile app development tools
  • Substantial expertise in creating applications using Flutter
  • Strong ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Sound knowledge of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
  • Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Core competency in the full mobile development life cycle
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities with the ability to pick up and adapt to new concepts quickly
