Flutter Mobile Developer

An early-stage startup committed to transforming sexual and reproductive healthcare for LGBTQIA+ individuals through a mobile-first digital clinic is looking for a Flutter Mobile Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for sustaining the software throughout the product lifecycle, including the layout, development, verification, and bug fixes. The platform is boosting access to remote care and empowering users to take control of their health by providing them with customized services and features tailored to their needs. The company has managed to raise close to $2.5 mn+ in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create scalable Dart code and pages with high fidelity designs
• Within the application, create and modify features
• Use various algorithms to improve the user experience
• Collaborate closely with the product manager to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements and functionalities to be implemented
• Work on the existing app and iterate to develop and implement additional functionality in accordance with the business objectives
• Make product enhancement recommendations and feature proposals to increase the business's commercial viability
• Contribute to the development of the algorithm

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience as a mobile developer
• Experience with Firebase services
• Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, design principles, and emerging technologies
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including building and testing
• Experience in releasing Flutter Apps to both PlayStore and App Store
• Knowledge of using version control and continuous integration
• Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, following the SOLID principles
• A portfolio of app development, especially within the Flutter framework, is nice to have
• Curious about the future of healthcare and new technologies
