Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating software platforms that link artists, educators, and performers so they may publish, lecture, and train utilizing deliberate practice concepts, is looking for a Flutter Developer. In addition to introducing new features and functionality, the developer will be making sure our program is compatible with the most recent versions of Flutter and its dependencies. Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and upgrade the flagship Flutter app alongside potential work on the React Native mobile apps
Lead the maintenance and upgrading of our Flutter-based mobile app, ensuring compatibility with the latest Flutter versions and dependency libraries
Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and functionalities post-upgrade
Work directly with Firebase for data storage, understanding, and optimizing the direct communication between the mobile client and Firebase
Apply your knowledge of React and React Native to potentially contribute to our other mobile applications
Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization
Stay abreast of developments in Flutter, React, and mobile application development to suggest and implement cutting-edge solutions

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a Flutter Developer
Extensive experience working with Flutter development for mobile platforms
Prior experience with React and/or React Native
Familiarity with Firebase and direct client-to-Firebase communications
Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle
Possess a talent for creating superior mobile applications
Experience in upgrading Flutter and its dependencies to maintain app functionality and compatibility
Ability to work across multiple codebases, including transitioning between Flutter and React Native projects is desirable
Some prior experience in app store deployment and compliance is preferred
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD for mobile apps is nice to have
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
