Site Reliability Engineer

A well-established company that is on a mission to transform the healthcare industry with their novel specialty care solutions, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer. The engineer will play a pivotal role in helping the team to combine apps and start over from scratch. The NYSE-listed company specializes in providing world-class administrative and clinical solutions. The company has managed to secure more than $528mn in funding so far. Job Responsibilities:

• Become a member of a team in charge of managing the extensive cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Take charge of the improvement of state observability across all of our applications and cloud infrastructure
• Advance the Infra as Code and Config as Code disciplines in collaboration with DevOps
• Complete any remedial actions recommended by post-incident reviews or RCA
• As part of APM, pinpoint performance bottlenecks and address each one
• Implement and maintain the setup of the basic security model in line with Infosec advice
• Develop a technical debt reduction plan in collaboration with the risk management team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
• 5+ years of experience working with overall cloud platforms
• 3+ years of experience with Azure
• Extensive experience working with Shell Scripting, Prometheus, and Ansible
• Some familiarity with Python Automation
• Extensive knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably one of PowerShell, YAML, HCL, or Python
• Enthusiasm and originality for automating processes with Terraform and Ansible
• Demonstrable experience using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• In-depth knowledge of Prometheus, Dynatrace, or DataDog as an APM tool
• Extensive expertise in managing project work using the agile technique (i.e., Scrumban)
• Exceptionally adept at communicating and at ease with high levels of transparency
• Fluent in conversational and written English communication
