Job description

A US-based company using advanced marketing technology to accelerate digital signage innovation and delivering revolutionary retail transformation is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer. The selected candidate will be working with a collaborative, tight-knit cross-functional team of designers and developers to architect an elegant application. The digital signage discipline of the company blends information management, user experience, software, and hardware to keep brand environments on the cutting edge of customer and employee experience. This role requires at least 4 hours overlap with the EST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • To translate the company's business needs into client-friendly functionality, use JavaScript and advanced frameworks like Vue.js
  • Using contemporary JavaScript frameworks, address bugs in web components
  • Implement features, bring the software up to date, and become familiar with proprietary JavaScript frameworks
  • Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-7+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript Framework
  • Nice to have 3+ years of experience working with API Design
  • 2+ years of experience with Jira, Confluence, and Gitlab is desirable
  • Ability to write well-documented and clean code
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
