Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is harnessing the power of AI to automate document processing and eliminate manual data entry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software with modern-day features for a better user experience. The company offers document extraction APIs for developers that combine machine learning with human review to ensure extraction accuracy on any document. This will be a full-time position that requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the development team and stakeholders to fully comprehend the application guidelines
  • To meet functional and non-functional requirements, design, construct, deploy, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure
  • Ensure a seamless and successful product and update release, structure the development and release processes
  • Play a key part in putting the DevOpsSec roadmap into action
  • Ensure that the application, security, and business teams are all on the same page
  • Participate in Sprint and Scrum ceremonies as a team
  • Ensure that internal and external environments are identical, prioritize automation, and leverage infrastructure as code
  • Monitor the production application and infrastructure, respond to escalations and remediate as needed
  • To ensure that engineering is aware of application behaviour in production, rotate, store, and monitor logs
  • High levels of automation and contemporary CI/CD pipelines are required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in WS infra offerings (EKS, EC2, RDS), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and Linux is a must
  • Expertise in Loki, Grafana Cloud, Gitlab, Postgres, and Redis is nice to have
