Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is harnessing the power of AI to automate document processing and eliminate manual data entry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software with modern-day features for a better user experience. The company offers document extraction APIs for developers that combine machine learning with human review to ensure extraction accuracy on any document. This will be a full-time position that requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with the development team and stakeholders to fully comprehend the application guidelines
To meet functional and non-functional requirements, design, construct, deploy, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure
Ensure a seamless and successful product and update release, structure the development and release processes
Play a key part in putting the DevOpsSec roadmap into action
Ensure that the application, security, and business teams are all on the same page
Participate in Sprint and Scrum ceremonies as a team
Ensure that internal and external environments are identical, prioritize automation, and leverage infrastructure as code
Monitor the production application and infrastructure, respond to escalations and remediate as needed
To ensure that engineering is aware of application behaviour in production, rotate, store, and monitor logs
High levels of automation and contemporary CI/CD pipelines are required

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3-5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
Experience in WS infra offerings (EKS, EC2, RDS), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and Linux is a must
Expertise in Loki, Grafana Cloud, Gitlab, Postgres, and Redis is nice to have
