Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to build an innovative sports management platform that enables teams to elevate their performance, is looking for a Senior Android Mobile Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical documentation for the applications and codebase. The company's sports management platform is intended to help leagues, clubs, teams, and other sporting organizations streamline communication and coordination between sports participants. The company has managed to secure more than $57mn+ in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the testing process by reviewing and analyzing tests, observing tests, and certifying software
  • By participating in professional conferences, workshops, or clubs, continue to learn the latest technologies, or maintain programming knowledge
  • Take part in code reviews to make sure the code is good quality, maintainable, and follows coding standards
  • Identify, analyze, and fix the Android applications' problems, flaws, and bottlenecks 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a mobile/Android engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Demonstrable Mobile Native experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with KMP, RESTful APIs, and MVVM
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people both inside and outside of engineering and feel at ease in a fast-paced workplace
  • Excellent English communication skills, both conversational and written
