Job description

A fast-growing company that manufactures tailor-made modular pre-fabricated homes is looking for a Principal Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CTO to implement technical plans, communicate roadblocks, and help strategize solutions. Users may browse manufactured and modular floor plans, builders and retailers, select the appropriate manufactured park model, and conveniently get financing for their new home thanks to the company's smart technology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CTO in implementing technological plans, communicating hurdles, and strategizing solutions
  • In charge of the overall development of the product stacks
  • Platform infrastructure and deployment platforms are managed, deployed, and upgraded
  • Communicate directly with the leadership team
  • Direct and delegate work
  • Create technical documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in the development of code, as well as code review and summation
  • Maintain and support the present platforms
  • To ensure excellent coding practices, collaborate with team members during the code review process
  • Recruit and mentor the rest of the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have knowledge of scaling SQL relational databases, including direct query optimization, caching mechanisms, and read/write clusters
  • Understanding of vertical and horizontal scaling of web applications and APIs
  • Familiarity with automated infrastructure solutions
  • Strong ability to document technical documents
  • Must be able to follow task management protocols
  • Great communication skills
