Job description

A U.S.-based company developing a world-class online recreational platform that allows people to interact with one another and construct long-lasting communities throughout the world is looking for a Mobile Engineer. The engineer will join a product team that is developing new and compelling promotional experiences. The company is developing its platform to foster the most open and authentic conversations on the internet in topics ranging from pets to parenting, skincare to stocks, there’s a niche for everyone. The company has managed to raise more than $1bn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of a product engineering team creating new and engaging promoted experiences
  • Collaborate with engineering peers to develop mobile features and projects
  • Contribute to the entire development cycle: technological design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
  • Review code and design documentation and provide input on product specifications and mockups

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Experience in Kotlin and Swift in professional settings
  • Experience building at least one Android app and an iOS app from start to shipment
  • An interest in the advertising business and understanding customer needs is desirable
  • Proficiency in English
