Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company that is building an efficient low code customer engagement platform is looking for a Mobile Engineer. The selected candidate will be identifying the technical debt and making relevant recommendations for reduction. The company assists businesses in developing and testing game-like experiences in order to onboard, retain, and recruit new users. They have managed to secure more than $320K during their Pre-Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architecture API design and perform data modeling
  • Consistently develop new features and iterate the existing ones
  • Investigate and resolve bugs/customer issues
  • Assist the team in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile engineer
  • Extensive experience in HTML5 & CSS to build responsive & dynamic UIs
  • Ability to use CSS grid and flexbox to build different layouts
  • Ability to transform, transition & keyframes for different animations in the UI
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Extensive experience working with APIs, REST, SQL is nice to have 
  • High accountability and ownership of work with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to effectively balance speed/quality/tech debt and make engineering decisions that enable speed and quality results
  • Solid understanding of Angular component lifecycle and how change detection and rendering works
  • Comprehensive knowledge of services and dependency injection
  • Knowledge of RxJs and the ability to use different RxJs operators according to the situation
  • Ability to use state management libraries like Redux & NGRX
  • Ability to use component libraries like Angular Material
  • Demonstrable experience integrating frontend with backend using RESTful APIs
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
