Job description

A US-based SaaS company that assists associations, universities, corporations, and enterprises in empowering people to achieve success in their organizations is looking for a Mobile Engineer. The selected candidate will be communicating with different teams to resolve development and problem-solving-related tasks. The company’s mentoring software is defining the future of mentoring and the learning industry with their impactful programs that were built at scale. The company has managed to secure $120K+ during their Pre-Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain reusable libraries and components for future implementation
  • Ability to write clean and useful documentation
  • Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of new features by discovering and designing them
  • Collaborate with the team to improve the platform and enhance the business needs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a mobile developer
  • Must have experience in React-Native, React Testing Library, Styled Components, Redux and Storybook
  • Prolific experience in Webpack, Husky, ESLint, Prettier, JavaScript
  • Extensive experience in Kotlin, Firebase, Fastlane, and Expo
  • Nice to have experience in Swift and Java 
  • Demonstrable experience in automated testing and its techniques
  • Solid understanding of data structures, software architecture, and design principles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming principles
  • Demonstrable ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical requirements
  • Passionate about benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with module bundlers, such as Webpack, is a plus 
  • Comfortable working with strict linting rules
  • Experience using Git for source control and semantic commits
  • Nice to have experience with TDD
  • Prior experience in managing open-source projects is a plus
