Job description

A fast-paced company that enables clinicians to make more accurate and timely diagnostic treatment and transfer selections is looking for a Mobile Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality products. The company's technology improves care coordination by providing care teams with unprecedented levels of patient awareness, saving lives, time, and money. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. The company has managed to raise $25 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient and reusable code
  • Improve the engineering processes to increase team effectiveness
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications  
  • Upgrade, test, and deploy software with the latest features 
  • Build scalable, efficient, and well-documented stacks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 5+ years of commercial experience building mobile applications for iOS
  • 10+ years of general commercial software engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Swift programming
  • Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK and device capabilities
  • Knowledge of the unique challenges of mobile development 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to work in a supportive team environment
  • Knowledge of dependency management
  • High level skill in Git and GitHub
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies 
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for iOS apps is a plus
  • Med-tech or Healthcare experience is desirable
  • Experience in a regulated software environment e.g. medical device, aerospace, defense, and automotive is a plus
  • Experience with DICOM, HL7 or other medical data formats & protocols is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
