The selected candidate will assist other developers on the team and contribute to building a maintainable system. The company operates a women-centric app that encourages meaningful conversations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product specifications, create implementations, write code, and deliver iOS app feature designs 
  • Consider performance metrics when drawing conclusions and driving change
  • Contribute technical ideas and suggestions to improve the product's direction
  • Take charge of the project and make process-related decisions
  • Mentor and advise junior team members
  • Create code and tests that are efficient, maintainable, and reusable
  • Write tests and maintain the build systems
  • Be an effective and responsible team member by communicating, participating, and assisting
  • Participate in weekly release cycle with the QA team
  • Attend daily stand-ups, plan and demo projects, and be enthusiastic about teamwork in an Agile environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience with Swift for iOS development
  • Portfolio of published iOS applications
  • Experience in testing code
  • Expertise in working on consumer-facing, mass-market applications is a plus
  • Experience with Xcode is nice to have
  • Experience with SwiftUI or UI Kit is desirable
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A positive and logical approach, as well as a willingness to learn
  • Detail-orientedness and a desire for excellence
  • Proficiency in English
