Job description

A fast-growing, healthy cooking service that delivers organic ingredients and customized recipes to customers is looking to hire a Mobile Developer. The candidate will develop high-quality applications while utilizing expert skills in React Native and a track record of publishing native iOS/Android apps. The company delivers millions of meals each month and has gained rapid expansion and growth in employees and sales up to 1300% over the years. They have raised a fund of over $143 mn from top-tier investors. The role is well suited for those who would like to build solutions for complex business and operational challenges. It requires at least 5-6 hours of overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Product Managers to spec, implement, test, document, and maintain the iOS and Android applications using React Native
  • Apply expertise with React Native to build custom UI components to create an amazing experience 
  • Collaborate with the backend development team on REST APIs used by the mobile application
  • Actively participate in code and spec reviews 
  • Attend all required meetings such as “standup” calls, sprint planning, retrospectives, all-hands, etc.
  • Build a perfect balance between high-quality code and shipping a product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a mobile developer
  • A high degree of expertise with React Native
  • Experience with native app development in iOS and Android
  • Proven passion for building clear and maintainable products in design and implementation
