Job description

A well-established company that has established itself as the leader in the construction industry with their cutting-edge Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions, is looking for a Mobile Developer. The developer will be tasked with building and designing user-friendly, scalable, and robust mobile applications. The company is helping to carry out construction projects in a variety of sectors, including hotels, infrastructure, airports, high rises, commercial, residential, process pipes, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for developers eager to work with industry veterans while carving their niche. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement technically sound, scalable, and maintainable solutions
  • Maintain a constant learning process and stay abreast with the newest trends, frameworks, and technologies in mobile app development
  • Use automated testing frameworks and techniques to make sure mobile releases are of the highest quality
  • Engage in agile software development activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and retrospectives
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using GraphQL and Flutter
  • Generate code that is organized, effective, and maintainable that adheres to best practices
  • Take part in the testing, debugging, and code reviews of mobile applications
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and confirm that mobile solutions are in line with business requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a mobile developer
  • Strong grasp of Flutter and GraphQL mobile app development
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and guidelines of software engineering
  • Solid understanding of the tools and frameworks used to develop mobile apps, like Firebase, Android Studio, or Xcode
  • Working knowledge of AWS Amplify and Flutter
  • Knowledge of best practices for software development, including testing, debugging, and version control
  • Nice to have some knowledge of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is desirable
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is nice to have
  • Nice to have prior experience with other mobile app development languages like Java, Kotlin, or Swift
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Passion for mobile app development and eagerness to learn new technologies and skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Graph QL, Sage Maker, Python, TypeScript, .NET Core, and .NET MVC
  • Some understanding of JavaScript, React, Flutter, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Understanding of PhotoShop, Invision, Figma, MS SQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB
  • In-depth knowledge of S3, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, AWS, and Azure
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Postman, Jira, and Linux
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
