Job responsibilities
- Define, design, and develop highly reliable, available, and scalable software solutions
- Architect and develop well-structured, clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Contribute in design and code reviews to adhere to development standards
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical design
- Evaluate and suggest new technologies and tools to improve overall performance and scalability of software
- Deliver ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for the deployed software
- Take responsibility of monitoring and mentoring junior engineers
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Expertise in building customer-centric software solutions
- Proficient in microservices architecture, web infrastructure, and REST
- Strong coding skills using Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, Ruby, Scala (or other high-level programming languages)
- Sound knowledge of React/Angular on the front-end and Java, J2EE/Spring on the back-end
- Proficient in load testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of web services
- Expertise with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP, and Azure
- Hands-on experience in databases like NoSQL, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.
- Firm grasp of full-stack or MEAN stack development with a focus on back-end API development
- Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Fluency in English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

- Experience with large-scale SaaS applications
