Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is manufacturing game-changing electric vehicles that are designed to offset the carbon footprint, is looking for a Java Engineer. The developer will be responsible for building an API to replicate the Rockwell MES in the UI and open the app up to other teams. The company is assisting fleets in electrifying at scale and is dedicated to preserving the natural world for future generations. They have managed to successfully raise more than $10bn in funding so far. This role requires 4+ hours overlap with the CST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complicated issues using comprehensive data sets utilizing new and existing libraries/frameworks
  • Define and inform the company’s product and technical roadmaps
  • Contribute to team efforts and provide regular informed feedback
  • Improve existing products and build innovative new ones
  • Work on optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience working with Java and related technologies
  • Extensive experience with j2ee and MS SQL
  • Nice to have some knowledge of CI/CD, ActiveMQ or Kafka for logging, and JBOSS
  • Prolific experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Rockwell, and enterprise is desirable
