Job description

A well-established company that is providing hospitality and travel services on their world-class platform is looking for a Java Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining user authentication and authorization features. The company’s travel app uses predictive analytics and cutting-edge technology to help users make travel recommendations. The company has managed to secure more than $720mn in funding so far. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.  


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help make changes to other peoples' code
  • Develop infrastructure and write code that will run millions of times
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
  • Adapt software to international markets and help with geo-expansion


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience working with Scala
  • Nice to have some experience with GCP
  • Prior experience working on a multi-country product is nice to have
  • Excellent English communication skills
