Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is active in the biotechnology industry with their life science research, therapeutic manufacturing, and clinical diagnostics solutions is looking for a Java Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing state-of-the-art products that help the company to achieve reproducible and consistent results. The US-based company provides comprehensive support and excellent quality solutions and products to ensure a high degree of reliability. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use 
  • Optimize application for optimal performance and scalability
  • Develop and produce highly reliable infrastructures at scale
  • Collaborate well with engineering teams to articulate requirements and system design

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience in Java and Python
  • Expertise in Java Eclipse Plugin is nice to have
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Proficiency with high coding standards and familiarity with design patterns
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
