Job description

A fast-paced company revolutionizing the healthcare industry by offering online ADD/ADHD diagnosis and treatment from trained and qualified medical providers is looking for a Java Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing and refining the code that powers and operates the services. The company believes that by ensuring the work is in line with its basic principles of trust, empathy, and proactiveness, it can contribute to the development of a better future for everyone. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the PDT time zone. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Mentor teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, and empathetic manner
  • Constantly improve and enhance the code that power and drive the services
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, fix code bugs, and set up the required infrastructure
  • Set the standard and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge of Java and Node.js
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Familiar with 3P tools integration (payment, CRM, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with Agile development
  • Experiences in building product 
  • Working experience with product designers and product managers
  • Experience working with remote team
  • Familiarity with building SaaS, transactions products 
  • Good English communication skills
