Job description

A leading virtual reality digital health company with software as a service/SaaS products is looking for a Java Android Developer. The company also helps diagnose and treat concussions and other neuro health conditions, including brain health, managing recovery, and optimizing performance. The selected candidate will assist in migrating our existing Java/Android mobile apps to Unity/C# apps for next-generation Virtual Reality/VR devices. The company has so far managed to raise $3.6 mn in funding. The candidate will be reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, and this is a great chance to learn from industry veterans. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help the team to complete the migration of Java/Android-based headset device to Unity/C# apps and Java/Android mobile apps
  • Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications and driving improvements 
  • Develop highly efficient user interface components 
  • Develop and maintain critical aspects of the technology base
  • Monitor and efficiently maintain continuous unit and integration, test, deployment practices 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science(or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Java software development
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Android mobile software development
  • Prior experience with Unity, C#, Java
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly 
  • Fluent in English language and exceptional problem-solving aptitude
