Job description

A customer-focused and technology-driven consulting company is looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for boosting the practices for development and operational excellence. The fast-growing company provides IT Consulting, outsourcing, and enterprise application development services that assist customers in crafting value for their software development results. This will be a long-term, full-time role and an amazing opportunity for developers who are eager to work with a team of professionals. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, fix code bugs, and set up the required infrastructure
  • Set the standard and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 8+ years of experience in solution, design, and developing applications and web services using the J2EE framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful services 
  • 2+ years of experience in developing applications using the spring technology stack is a must
  • 2+ years of experience in Angular or NodeJS or React or similar frameworks, and jQuery is required
  • 2+ years of experience in Cloud technologies like AWS S3, EC2, Amazon EKS is a must
  • 2+ years of experience in any of RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Elastic Search is required
  • 2+ years of demonstrable experience working in Agile or a Scaled Agile organization
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs is required
  • 3+ years of database technologies in Oracle/Sybase/Mongo/PostgreSQL/SQL Server databases or any other No SQL DBs is a must
  • 3+ years of experience in Micro-services architecture and Docker Containers Platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes is a must
  • Experience with XQuery and Stored Procedures, performance tuning of database queries is a must
  • Experience in code delivery pipelines and deployment tools using - ANT, Shell script, Maven, Gradle, Ansible, and Jenkins is a must
  • Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is required
  • Knowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket is required
  • Experience using XML, JAXB, and XML persistence using XQuery and XSLT is nice to have
  • Preferred back-end experience to develop the data Layer using frameworks like Hibernate, JPA, etc. 
  • Functional knowledge in the secondary mortgage domain will be an added advantage
  • Modern delivery experience will be a plus
  • Experience in creating back-end frameworks is nice to have
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
